Terms of Use

Last updated: 27 August 2026

These terms of use govern your use of Guess Ladder (website guessladder.ch and the accompanying iOS app). You will find the provider and contact details in the legal notice, and details of data processing in the privacy policy. By using Guess Ladder you agree to these terms.

1. What Guess Ladder is

Guess Ladder is a free multiplayer party game. All game modes and content are usable without payment. Most of the game can be played without an account; individual modes and features require a free account.

2. Account

To create an account you need a valid e-mail address and a password of your choosing. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for all actions taken through your account. One account per person is intended.

You can request deletion of your account at any time by e-mail to support@guessladder.ch. On deletion, coins, unlocked skins and game progress are forfeited without replacement.

3. Coins

Coins are purely in-game points with no monetary value. They cannot be purchased, paid out, transferred to other accounts, or exchanged for money or goods. There is no entitlement to any particular number of coins, to their continued existence, or to any particular way of earning them.

You earn coins in the game, among other ways by watching an ad clip in full. We determine how many coins this earns and how often it is possible per day, and we may change this at any time. Attempts to obtain coins through manipulation, automated tools or by circumventing the playback duration entitle us to remove the coins concerned and to block the account.

4. Custom and public games

You can create your own game modes with questions you write yourself and, if you wish, publish them so that other players can use them.

You are responsible for content you create or publish. You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to it and that the content infringes neither third-party rights nor applicable law. The following are not permitted in particular:

By publishing, you grant us the non-exclusive, royalty-free right to store and display the content within Guess Ladder and to make it available to other users. This right ends when the content is removed.

We may remove published content at any time and without prior notice if it breaches these terms or if we consider it inappropriate on other objective grounds. There is no obligation to review published content in advance. If you come across content that does not belong here, please report it to support@guessladder.ch – we will look at it and remove it if it breaches these rules.

5. Conduct in the game

Guess Ladder depends on fair play. The following are not permitted in particular: harassing other players, offensive or misleading player names, the use of bots or automated tools, exploiting software defects, and interfering with the operation of the game or the servers.

6. Advertising

Guess Ladder is funded by advertising. We may adjust the nature, extent and frequency of advertising at any time. The respective advertisers are responsible for the content of the ads displayed.

7. Blocking

In the event of breaches of these terms we may – depending on severity – remove content, restrict features, or block the account temporarily or permanently. In the case of serious or repeated breaches this may happen without warning. There is no entitlement to the restoration of blocked accounts or forfeited coins.

8. Availability

Guess Ladder is provided free of charge and without any guarantee of availability. Maintenance, faults or further development may cause interruptions. We may change, extend or discontinue individual game modes or features at any time, and may cease operating the service altogether.

9. Liability

We are fully liable in cases of intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law, in particular for data loss, lost profits or indirect damage. We are not liable for content originating from users or for the content of external links.

10. Age

Guess Ladder is aimed at a general audience. If you have not yet reached the age of majority under the law applicable to you, you need the consent of your parents or guardians to use an account.

11. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms of use, for example when features change or the legal situation does. The version published on this page applies. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop using the service and request deletion of your account.

12. Governing law

Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The place of jurisdiction is – to the extent permitted by law – Winterthur, Switzerland. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
